Sarah Cornell, Transitional Pastor

Pastor Sarah Cornell joined Shady Grove as the Transitional Pastor in May 2025. Her ministry has taken her from pastoring two churches in South Carolina to life on the road in an RV with her husband Mike and their dog Clutch. Sarah's call brought them to Memphis to serve at Shady Grove. She leads worship with sensitivity and thoughtfulness, supports the Session in shaping Shady Grove's future, walks compassionately with the congregation who grieves the loss of their last pastor, and she actively engages in the life and ministries of the church.
