Sarah Strong serves as Parish Associate for the church. Her calm spirit and devotion to teaching bring depth to the church’s spiritual formation. She teaches a lectionary-based Adult Formation class each Sunday and provides special classes for the Advent and Lenten seasons of the year. Sarah also assists in worship leadership. Sarah and her husband Tim have five children and 10 grandchildren. Sarah loves being part of Shady Grove because it is a community of people who genuinely care about each other, who “walk the walk,” are welcoming, accepting, and affirming of one another and those in the larger community.
